Mendira releases jingle ’Kaya Mo ‘Yan’

Mendira.net artists recently released their company’s jingle “Kaya Mo Yan” featuring Tiports, Valkyrie Cabalo, and Rexxx on all music-streaming platforms with a goal of inspiring artists.


In November 2020, Tatay Paul (Paul Valle Ragus), the founder of Mendira, requested a song for Mendira Media, but public performances were outlawed because the pandemic was still at its height.


“I wanted a relatable song. I wanted a song for Mendira. I had many talented Mendirafam artists in mind but  we’re shortlisted. Carl Miranda for his hugot-type of songs, Antoniii for his unique style, and then came the Singaporean song I heard of Tiports on YouTube. That sealed the deal. Ang ganda kasi… nakaka LSS,” Tatay Paul said in a statement.


Negotiations with Tiports to write and perform the song for Mendira were made by December 2020. Idiyanale then gave it to Tatay Paul in February 2021.


“Lagyan ng rap element! Marami magagaling na rap artists na Mendirafam. Just so happen that Rex Aglinao posted a video snippet na nagrarap siya. Simple lang, carefree at totally good vibes lang. Yun…ganun ang gusto ko!”. Tatay Paul added.


By the third quarter of 2021, the song was finished, and Ian surprised Tatay Paul by performing it the night of his birthday on April 10.


Tatay Paul said, “It was a gift of love from all of those involved. Porti could have never composed it that way kung hindi niya mahal ang Mendira, so did Rex on the rap part. Mararamdaman mo pagmamahal nila sa Mendira.  Valkyrie is an intelligent singer and marespeto sa mga ka-collab niya.  Ian and Reeve, they were amazing.  Reeve told me – para kasi po sa Mendira yan ‘Tay.”


Artists are the focus of Kaya Mo 'Yan. It serves as a reminder to them that the Mendira family is supporting them during their difficult times. preserving the mission of Mendira.net to provide a home for its artists always.
